A Program Aide (Cadette) or Volunteer in Training (Senior or Ambassador) is an older Girl Scout mentor who fosters education and sisterhood with younger Girl Scouts. This training is recommended (and sometimes required) to help with council programs and younger Girl Scout troops.
This training is being offered at a reduced cost as part of October Leadership Month sponsored by Barnes & Thornburg LLP.
This training will take place online Thursday Oct. 29th AND Nov. 5th from 6-8 pm.

To earn the Program Aide bar, girls are required to:
- Complete each session in this training
- Earn an LiA
- Help with 6 younger Girl Scout activities.
To earn the Volunteer-in-Training bar, girls are required to:
- Complete each session in this training
- Help with a younger girl journey for at least 4 sessions.
- Connect with a volunteer to help with a younger girl troop for 3-6 months.
