Dive into the beauty of the prairie with a naturalist as we earn the Outdoor Art Explorer badge. Participants will investigate animal adaptations while creating collages, craft their very own walking stick, explore the auditory wonders of nature, and capture their memories through photography.
Meets at Blazingstar Picnic Shelter in the Prairie View picnic area. Participants need to bring a camera or a smartphone with a camera. For all programs, a water bottle, sunscreen, and bug spray are recommended. Wear sturdy shoes that you are comfortable getting dirty. (Some programming may end earlier depending on the badge work.)
Prices include badge. Participants must pay gate fee ($8/vehicle, IN resident) or use an Indiana State Park pass.
Space is limited. Learn more about Prophetstown State Park and find driving directions here: https://on.in.gov/prophetstown .
