Are you a home school/e-learning/virtual learning family looking for a fun opportunity where you can learn about history, experience high adventure, and stay healthy, too? Look no further - our Camp Dellwood staff is here to help! Get out of the house for a day with a day full of educational activities!
Each student will be provided with kits full of activities that can be self led (with the help of an adult). Every kits is full of adventure and take home activities for students to enjoy. Our staff will be on hand to answer questions and help students complete any pieces they may need help with. Students will be responsible for providing their own adult and will be asked to social distance themselves from other student groups as much as possible.
Bring a picnic lunch and enjoy the beautiful outdoors! Finish your activities early? Enjoy our many beautiful trails that run throughout our camp during your stay!
Students in grades Pre-K through 3rd grade will get to participate in interactive activities around these themes:
- Slingshot Course - take your best shot in our brand new sling shot course! Our trained facilitators will help your student learn how to properly use a slingshot and offer a full activity of fun!
- Dream It, Design It - If you can dream it, you can design it! This fun activity will give you the skills you need to take your design to the next level!
- Outdoor Artist - use your outdoor skills to create a beautiful work of art from nature!
Students in grades 4-12 will get to participate in interactive activities around these themes:
- Air Rifle Range - Join us for a high adventure activity at our air rifle range! Our new air rifle range is both a fun and safe shooting sport where students will learn the fundamentals
- The Great Zombie Survival Challenge - do you know what to do in a disaster? This program activity will take the fear away and give you the skills you need to be prepared!
- Indiana Women's Suffrage - this kit is full of lots of activities for your student to learn about about the history of the women's suffrage movement and how they can continue to make an impact today!
**Siblings that are not in school may attend but will not be able to participate in activities. Please note that our trails are rocky so strollers won't push well throughout camp.
