This American Canoe Association course includes basic canoe paddling techniques, small craft safety, recovery/rescue methods, and several games to play while paddling!  All girls must be able to swim.  You will be getting into the water to learn and practice what to do if a canoe tips over.  Most of the class will take place in a quiet cove on Kokomo Reservoir.  Feel free to bring a picnic lunch to eat before the program. Girls will receive Paddling badge and a safety whistle!
