Join our staff and other troops for a fun-filled troop camping experience! This is perfect if your troop is new to camping or prefers to experience summer camp together. Participate in many hands-on activities, crafts, outdoor cooking, swimming, archery, low ropes challenge course, and more!

Camping Units

We have a mix of modern dorm-style cabins, rustic cabins, and tents. If you have a strong preference, you must email the camp director (dthomas@girlscoutsindiana.org) after you register.  Unit assignments will be made based on availability and preferences - there is no guarantee you'll be in your first choice unit.  Also note that there may be more than one troop in a unit and the expectation is to Be a Sister to Every Girl Scout and share the facilities and work together.

Leadership

Your troop must provide its own leadership through parents, leaders, and other family members. All adults must be registered Girl Scouts. A minimum of two adults must be in camp at all times. At least one must be over 21 years of age; others may be 18 or older. Your troop must meet the girl to adult ratio as per the Safety Activity Checkpoints.

During your stay we will provide activities, supplies, and meals throughout the day and evening. Your leaders' responsibility will consist of supervising your troop at various activities, escorting them to the different places in camp, and providing activities during any free time. You will also need to provide transportation. Since most of the activities are run by camp staff, camping experience is not necessary.
