Would you like to see how our state legislature works? Through the Indiana House Page Program, any student 13 to 18 years of age or older gets the chance to come to the Statehouse and see a full day of legislative activity. Along with visiting the capitol building and touring such locations as the governor's office, the chambers of the Indiana House and Senate and the Indiana Supreme Court, pages get the chance to witness floor sessions and committee meetings and help staff members. Students who serve as pages receive an excused absence from school. They are responsible for their own transportation to and from Indianapolis.

Fee includes lunch, patch, and a badge.

Girl Scouts traveling more than one hour away are invited to stay at Camp Dellwood the night before the event, which is approximately 20 minutes from the statehouse.

Note: Adult supervision provided by council. We apologize for the inconvenience, but adults will not be able to stay during this program due to space.

Information from the House Page Office:

Check-in begins at 8:15am EST. Please arrive by this time. If you are early, you may wait quietly on either side of the hallway or in the cafeteria located adjacent to the escalator (in the direction you came from).

Dismissal will take place at 3:30. Upon leaving, pages will receive a packet with their certificate, school excuse, and other information. Please do not leave without taking this packet.
