Meet at Turkey Run’s Nature Center at 10 am and be prepared to take a step back in time! Explore the unique caverns and ravines of Turkey Run, discover ancient sea animal fossils, or crinoids, and take a visit to the punchbowl! Be prepared with appropriate hiking shoes and outer wear.
The plan - Begin at the Nature Center, take time to look for fossils while crossing the suspension bridge, and take a hike up to the punchbowl. At that juncture, the girl scouts and their families could finish the loop of Trail 3 on their own or head back to the Nature Center with the Interpreter. If people continued on from the Punchbowl it would be another hour of hiking.
